There are many updates on the popular messaging application WhatsApp right now. While some of them are being published, some of them are still being worked on. Meta, the umbrella company of WhatsApp, which has been given a lot of thought about its security, has now announced that they have launched a new security feature in WhatsApp.
The name of the new feature introduced is Code Validate. Centering the WhatsApp Web version, Code Validate now opens the door to a more secure communication when using WhatsApp Web on the browser. Code Validate, which adds an extra layer of security to the end-to-end encryption feature of WhatsApp when used over the web, can now be downloaded from the official browser extension stores of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.

Code Validate, which you can download for Chrome here and for Edge here, is pinned to your toolbar after clicking the “add extension” button and is automatically activated when you open WhatsApp Web.
