The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) changed the 5 lira and 20 lira paper money notes. This change means little to the citizens. As of today, the CBRT will launch the V. section of E9 Emission Group banknotes. Citizens, 20 lira banknote Prof. Dr. Şahap Kavcıoğlu and Vice President Prof. Dr. Semih Tümen, on the 5 lira banknote, in addition to Kavcıoğlu, Dr. They will see Uğur Namık Küçük’s signature.
There are no changes on the banknotes except the signature.
In the statements made by the Central Bank, the following statements were made regarding the new banknotes; “The banknotes in question are exactly the same as the I., II., III. and IV. in terms of their dimensions, obverse and reverse compositions, general qualities and appearance, except for the signatures on them.”
With the decision taken by the CBRT, two new members were added to the V. order banknote series. The Central Bank has taken the same decision for 200 lira and 10 lira banknotes before.
