Netflix continues to work to consolidate its position in the gaming industry. The number of games that the company, which has recently acquired studios such as Boss Fight Entertainment and Next Games, will bring to its mobile application in 2022 has also been determined.
Netflix will expand its game library by the end of the year
Netflix first entered the game industry last year. The company, which offered 5 games to its subscribers in the first place, increased this number over time and currently has a library of 18 games. But that’s not enough for the company, according to the Washington Post’s report. For this reason, there is a feverish work to bring about 30 more new productions to the platform by the end of the year.
For now, there is no information about what these games will be. However, Netflix’s previous acquisition of studios such as Boss Fight Entertainment, Next Games and Night School is the biggest indicator that it has made a serious investment and attached great importance to the game industry. For this reason, it is highly likely that the games that will come to the platform will be in a style that will attract the attention of the subscribers.
Current Netflix games are as follows;
- Arcanium: Rise of Akhan
- Asphalt Xtreme
- Bowling Ballers
- Card Blast
- Dominoes Café
- Dungeon Dwarves
- Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story
- Into the Dead 2: Unleashed
- Knittens
- Krispee Street
- Shatter Remastered
- Shooting Hoops
- Stranger Things: 1984
- Stranger Things 3: The Game
- Teeter (Up)
- This is a True Story
- Wonderputt Forever
