Netflix made a statement about the new models and processors it supports. Among the processors announced by the company is the Exynos 2200, developed by Samsung and used in the Galaxy S22 family.
Offering device-specific support for a better experience for users, Netflix recently announced for the Google Pixel 6 family. Netflix, which has released its new update before the Galaxy S22 family has been introduced, will now work efficiently on devices with Exynos 2200 processors.
Netflix starts supporting Exynos 2200 processors
Although the company does not specifically mention the Galaxy S22 family, it is known that the Exynos 2200 processor will be used in new Samsung models. Added Samsung Exynos 2200 and Exynos 2100 processors to the supported list, as well as some Unisoc chips.
Exynos 2100 processor, which is seen in some Galaxy S21 models, has 1x Exynos X1 (2.9GHz), 3x Cortex-A78 (2.8GHz) and 4x Cortex-A55 (2.2GHz) cores. The flagship processor is very successful in graphics performance.
Samsung announced that it is collaborating with AMD for the Exynos 2200. The processor, which will be produced with 4nm technology, will appear with cores with Armv9 architecture. There are 1 ARM Cortex-X2, 3 Cortex-A710 and 4 Cortex-A510 in the 8-core processor. Samsung Xclipse 920, also developed by Samsung, was used in the graphic interface of the introduced processor.
