Netflix, which closed last year with an average loss of 120 billion dollars, entered the renewal process. The company, which released an update for iPhone owners, renewed the Netflix iOS design.

Netflix has changed the design of its iOS app

When you tap on a movie or show in the app’s new interface, the art cover is designed to expand to show all the details about it. Redesigning the Coming Soon tab, the company changed its name to “What’s New”.

When users first open the Netflix application, they encounter a large card promoting a movie or series available on the platform. Using the iPhone’s accelerometer sensor, the company added a motion feature to the card on the homepage.

The filtering feature, which is one of the biggest problems of the Netflix application, has been made easier with the new design. You will now be able to access the search and filtering feature more quickly while browsing any part of the application.

Former Netflix UI designer Janum Trivedi, who worked on the new interface of the Netflix application, stated that the project began development in 2022. Commenting on the subject, Trivedi said, “The new ad design and layout responds with a subtle lighting effect as you move your device. The new interactive card toggle aims to enhance the user experience.” made statements.

Netflix has also changed the profile animations in its iOS app. Smoother transitions were used in profile switching animations.

It is worth noting that Netflix’s advertising subscription plan has not yet been activated on Apple TV. The company did not make any announcements about when the new subscription plan will be available to Apple TV users.
