While the platform announced that it has canceled several highly anticipated animation productions in this context, bad news came from another expected animation today. Netflix has canceled the animated series ‘Pearl’, which is behind Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle.

Netflix, in a statement shared by Prince Harry of England and Duke of Sussex, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex announced that it has canceled the animated series Pearl, which he developed with Announced last year and highly anticipated, the series was among the measures taken by the company to cut expenses.
Netflix signed a multi-year deal with Archewell Productions, founded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to produce documentaries, TV shows, films and children’s programs in 2020. The company announced that despite the cancellation of the Pearl series, it will continue to work with Archewell in the coming period.
The last member to be added to Netflix’s list of canceled productions, Pearl would focus on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl inspired by successful women who made history. In addition to this series, the company announced that two children’s animated series Dino Daycare and Boons and Curses have also been canceled.
