You know, game company Naughty Dog boss Neil Druckmann, who gave us great series such as Uncharted and The Last of Us (TLOU), was also involved in the production of The Last of Us series, which was released at the beginning of this year. Speaking to an agency called Entertainment Weekly, Neil Druckmann answered some questions about the fate of Naughty Dog and HBO’s TLOU series. He stated that his job is quite interesting.
“I’m working on a TV series, I’m working on another game. I jump from project to project.”
Regarding the TLOU series, Druckmann said that the 2nd season is ready and when it will air. The series will be ready to air as soon as the writers’ strikes currently underway in Hollywood are over.
Coming to Naughty Dog’s next game, Neil Druckmann is swimming in some murky waters on that one. He was asked directly about the third TLOU game, but he said nothing: “As for Naughty Dog’s next game, I can’t say anything. My communications director there would murder me.”
Naughty Dog confirmed in March of this year that it has started developing its next game. Among the answers given by Druckmann, there were statements that supported the hope of a possible The Last of Us 3, but he did not officially confirm it.
We’ve previously learned that a multiplayer TLOU game is coming, and it will even include a story where we won’t be directing Ellie but in which she will be involved in some way.
