President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who took the podium at the United Nations General Assembly, made a statement on many issues. Erdogan’s topics included the epidemic, vaccination studies, climate change and domestic vaccination. Erdoğan started his statement by stating that the last 2 years had brought painful days to humanity, and then announced that underdeveloped countries were left to their fate.

Expressing that global solidarity remained weak during the epidemic, the President said, “The underdeveloped countries were almost left to their fate. ” he stated. He then stated that they are proud that the first vaccine approved by WHO was developed by two scientists of Turkish origin living in Germany, and that we sent medical aid to 159 countries and 12 international organizations during the epidemic.

The domestic vaccine may soon be offered to the whole world, including Turkey:

After these statements, Erdoğan said, “I would like to express that we will soon offer our domestic vaccine to the benefit of all humanity, together with our nation. ” he said. He added that they also support the efforts of WHO to strengthen and prepare contracts against epidemics.

“Turkey will do its part on climate change”:

Stating that climate change is an issue that needs to be emphasized and that the world is bigger than 5 on this issue, Erdoğan continued his statements with the following statements:

“We have been promoting plans for our industry to implement cleaner production activities for a long time already. We are determined to take these efforts further by receiving the necessary financial support. Turkey will do its part on climate change and environmental issues. ”
