If you have a Samsung Galaxy – old or new – then you have a hidden picture of a chihuahua on your phone. You’ll never come across this painting, so you’ve probably never seen it and don’t know it. But it is there, hiding and ready to meet at any moment…
The picture we are talking about is not found in the Gallery app. Instead, it is hidden in a hidden menu called “diagnostic mode”. The diagnostic options in this menu are not advertised in any way by Samsung and you cannot find them in the Settings app.
How to start diagnostic mode on your Samsung Galaxy?
To start diagnostic mode on any Samsung Galaxy device, open the Phone app, switch to the Keyboard tab and dial *#0*#. No matter which Galaxy you have, you will see a simple menu with a number of options that allow you to test different functions of your phone.
For example, you’ll likely see “RED”, “GREEN” or “BLUE” at the top of the grid that tests the screen’s ability to display colors. “RECEIVER” plays a dial tone until you exit the test and “TOUCH” allows you to test the accuracy of your touchscreen.
Since Samsung makes so many different smartphones, your options may vary depending on your Galaxy device. For example, the Fold and Flip series have options that probably aren’t on Samsung’s standard smartphones.
How to find hidden chihuahua photo?
Tap “SENSOR” when diagnostic mode is on. Here, you will see a jumble of data and buttons, but what we want is to tap on the “IMAGE TEST” option located at the top of the screen. And here it is; here is the hidden chihuahua photo…
There is no explanation for why this picture is there. Why do we see it on every Samsung phone? If this is a test image, why is the quality so low? Unless Samsung makes an announcement, these are questions the tech community will ponder forever.
