Changes continue in Twitter, under the management of Elon Musk. A new change has been made under the new plan, which Musk called Twitter 2.0, and the Twitter Moments feature is ending.Introduced as the new way to view tweets
The Twitter Moments feature was announced in 2015 as “a whole new way to look at tweets”. The Moments feature, which was used to highlight important content, was shut down as part of Musk’s Twitter 2.0 plan.
The Moments feature did not receive the expected attention on the social media platform. Twitter replaced the Moments tab on mobile with Discover, and in 2018 the option to create moments on mobile was removed. Currently, previously created moments can be viewed, but users are not given the option to create new moments.
Twitter said the option to create Moments has been removed for most users as they focus on improving other experiences. Live Events can be followed.
