After Elon Musk bought Twitter, numerous changes were made to the familiar social media platform. In the process, Twitter’s name and even that blue bird logo changed. The change for the platform, which is now called X, is still not finished. An X post recently shared by Musk (Yes, no longer a tweet, but a post) mentions the need for serious change.

“Everything changes, the only constant is change”

Apparently, Musk said of Heraclitus, “Everything changes. The only constant is change.” He must have liked his word so much that he is constantly in search of change in X. The famous billionaire shared in his X post, “We need to make this interface much nicer.” used his statements. The depth of the design change in Musk’s mind is unclear, but the phrase “much more” indicates that it could be something big.

In fact, there has been no major changes in the design of the platform for a long time. But Musk clearly wants to make the platform a much different place. The brand change is also an indication of this. When you create a new brand, you don’t want it to stay on the old foundations, so it’s natural for the famous billionaire to want change. However, a radical and rapid design change can be badly received by users.

Musk and the firm’s CEO, Linda Yaccarino, want to make X an app where anything can be done. X is evolving into a multi-purpose place such as texting your loved ones, making video calls, performing live broadcasts, monetizing content, and making payment transactions. Realizing the desire for an application where everything can be done already seems difficult in the current design.
