Affects Windows 10 and 11 PCs
According to MSI’s statement, the UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR error code is caused by a certain Intel Hybrid Architecture software setting that only applies to systems with 13th generation Intel Core i9 processors. MSI says the issue occurs on Windows 10 and 11 PCs that received updates KB5029351, KB5029332, and KB5029331.
In order to solve the problem, MSI started to release the new BIOS update for its 600 and 700 series motherboards on its official website. All BIOS versions will be available for download by the end of September.
