On LinkedIn, Tucker said he’s very excited to join Yuga, which also owns CryptoPunks and Meebits NFTs.
Tucker said in a statement on the subject:
“I believe the future of gaming will be fueled by player ownership, social collaboration and creative expression”
Yuga CEO Nicole Muniz said in a statement that gaming is one of the company’s top priorities and its main focus going forward.
Yuga still has a small team that continues its $450 million startup round, which brings the company to a $4 billion valuation. The firm has hired around 60 employees so far this year and aims to increase its total staff to 100 by the end of 2022.
