Having won the hearts with the stylish phones it produced in the past, Motorola wants to take back its place in the market with its new models. Motorola, which gained great acclaim, especially with its Razr model, drew attention by bringing the iconic phone together with today’s touch screen technology. The famous phone manufacturer is now aiming to be the center of attention with a different phone. According to the information received, Motorola is working on a phone with an expandable screen.
Motorola wants to stand out with its new display technology!
As display technology developed, smartphones began to take shape accordingly. While foldable screens take phones to a different dimension, phone models with expandable screens seem to take their place in the market now.
The new phone, which is said to have the code name Felix, is expected to be similar in size to the brand’s Razr model. Just like Razr, the Felix model, which will have a replaceable form, will not include folding hinges. Instead, the screen will be rounded to gain a larger size.
Extended screen phones are not really new in the market. In the past years, TCL and Oppo brands exhibited many models with this concept, but none of these projects were realized. LG, which came closest to this idea, introduced a concept model called “Rollable”, but this project fell through after the company closed its phone department.
We don’t know what kind of phone Motorola is working on yet. However, we may be dealing with something different from what we have seen before. The device, which is predicted to have compact dimensions, is expected to grow by 1 in 3 thanks to its screen that expands from the bottom up.
There is no clear information about the introduction date of Motorola’s new model yet. The phone manufacturer is also working on the foldable Maven and Juno versions of the Razr series, as well as the expanded screen model.
