It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Produced with a 6nm fabrication process, this processor is home to an 8-core IMG BXM-8-256 GPU in addition to 2x Arm Cortex-A78 2.2GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 2.0GHz cores.

Coming to the camera section, the Motorola Moto G54 5G has a dual sensor setup on the back, 50MP primary and 8MP Ultra wide angle with OIS support. On the front, a 16MP sensor is used for video calls and selfie shots. Other features of the device include a 5,000mAh battery pack with 15W charging support, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Nano SIM, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G support and Android 13.
