The Motorola device, which has emerged recently and learned to come with a 200 Megapixel rear camera, with the code name Frontier, continues to gradually become clear. Once one of the most powerful manufacturers in the phone industry, but with the spread of smartphones, it lost its user base and was almost forgotten for years. In the last few years, the company has been trying to gain power again with Android models.
Motorola, which has invested in the foldable phone market with a limited number of manufacturers from the very beginning and brought products, and also has phones in every segment, will be one of the most ambitious in 2022 with its new Frontier model. As a matter of fact, the phone will have a 200 Megapixel camera and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, the most powerful of the Qualcomm front.
Motorola Frontier is very ambitious in terms of hardware
According to the allegations, Frontier, which will be the top device of this year not only for Motorola but also for other manufacturers and models, arouses great curiosity, although it has not been clarified in many respects yet. The phone, which is expected to take its power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which goes through the 4nm production process, will have a 6.67-inch FHD + OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. In addition to 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, we can expect a 4500mAh-5000mAh battery in Motorola Frontier.
The flagship, which is extremely ambitious especially on the camera side, will take the most ambitious photos of the year with its 200 Megapixel rear camera with Samsung HP1 sensor. Of course, on paper… In addition, the ultra-wide-angle second camera with 50 Megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor and the third telephoto camera with 12 Megapixel resolution will attract attention on the back of Motorola Frontier.
On the front, there will be a Megapixel feast again. It is not known what features will be found in the flagship, which is expected to offer a 60 Megapixel selfie camera to the user. By the way, it’s worth mentioning. Megapixels are nothing on their own for the camera. In fact, the software and lens quality on the camera side is much more important than the Megapixel value. As a matter of fact, Google Pixel models represent a very good example for what we have explained (The Pixel 6 series introduced this year had 12 Megapixel cameras).
Let’s see if Motorola will make its new phone just numbers? Or is it really the best phone of the year on the way? Time will show that…
