Bringing the flagship Motorola Edge 40 Pro to users in the past weeks, Motorola has now turned its focus to Moto Edge 40 and foldable Razr 40 Ultra models. In this context, both devices, which we have been hearing about leaks for a while, started to appear on certification sites.

For those who don’t know, Motorola Edge 40 will be the base model of the family after Edge 40 Pro. The foldable Razr 40 Ultra model is expected to be released as Motorola Razr+ 2023 in certain markets. However, both phones displayed on India’s BIS certification site are listed with model number XT2303-2 and XT2321-1. It should be noted that the list in question does not contain information about the features of the devices. However, the fact that the devices have passed the certification stage shows us that they will be on the market soon.

Motorola Edge 40 expected features

According to reports, the Moto Edge 40 will feature a 6.55-inch curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, the new device is expected to receive support from the Dimensity 8020 platform, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. In the camera section, the device, which will be presented with a 32MP selfie on the front, a 50MP primary and 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera with OIS support on the back, will be accompanied by a 4,400mAh battery with 68W fast charging support and My UX 5 based on Android 13.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra (Razr+ 2023) expected features

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, on the other hand, will have a 6.7-inch foldable OLED display with FHD + resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The device, which will rival the Galaxy Z Flip 4, is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 8/12GB RAM and a 3,640mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In addition, the Android 13 operating system and My UX 5 will come with other features such as a large cover screen, dual camera setup and side-facing fingerprint scanner.
