Motorola launched the Edge X30, the first smartphone model with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, in 2021. Allegedly, the Edge 30 Pro model will be the global version of the Edge X30. The introduction date of the Edge 30 Pro model, which the company will introduce soon, has been leaked.
Having achieved sales success with the Edge X30, Motorola has completed its preparations for its new model. The company managed to generate more than $16 million in revenue by selling 10 thousand units of the Edge X30 model in 3 minutes.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro launch date revealed
Motorola Êdge 30 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor to be produced by Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, produced with 4 nm technology, has one 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-X2, three 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores. The processor also includes the Adreno 730 graphics unit.
The new model will be introduced with a 6.7-inch OLED panel. The model, which is stated to have a resolution of 1080×2400, will appear with a screen refresh rate of 144Hz. Motorola Edge 30 Pro will be available to users in the global market in February.
It is among the leaked information that the Edge 30 Pro model will be introduced with 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options. On the storage side, there will be 128GB and 256GB options.
In the model, which is stated to be offered to users with a triple rear camera array, OIS supported 50 Megapixel main camera, 50 Megapixel ultra wide angle camera and 2 Megapixel depth sensor will be used. For the selfie camera, a 60 Megapixel lens will be preferred. Allegedly, the selfie camera will feature under-screen camera technology.
It is stated that the device will come with a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging technology. Edge 30 Pro will be fully charged in just 35 minutes.
