Mobile games and applications, which have now become an important part of our lives, are downloaded millions of times every month. Both reports published by Appfigures reveal which games and applications were downloaded the most around the world in April.
The data shows the most downloaded games and apps in both the Google Play Store and App Store separately and in the aggregate of the two. At the top of both lists are names that are not surprising.

When we look at the application side, we see that the video editing application named “CapCut”, which can be described as an unrivaled application in the App Store, is the first with 12 million. It is followed by TikTok with 9 million and Google Maps, Google and Instagram with 8 million. When we look at the Play Store, Instagram is at the top with 36 million, Facebook is in the second place with 32 million, and TikTok is in the third place with 28 million.
When App Store and Play Store data are combined, Meta apps Instagram and Facebook dominate the first two places with 44 million and 38 million downloads, respectively. TikTok is in the third with 37 million.
The 10 most downloaded apps in the world reached 270 million devices last month, according to AppFigures estimates. This represents a 12% decrease compared to March.

On the side of the most downloaded games last month, we see Monopoly GO! topped the App Store with 4 million. It is followed by Roblox, Royal Match, Gardenscapes, Block Blast Adventure Master and Subway Surfers with 3 million.
The Play Store, on the other hand, first features the fantasy sports app Dream11 with a staggering 15 million downloads. What’s more interesting is that this game is only available in India. In other words, an application that is only available in India is both the leader in the Play Store and among the most downloaded in the world. Dream11 is followed by Subway Surfers with 15 million and Candy Crush Saga with 11 million.
When we look at the total data, we see that Subway Surfers, which has been popular for many years, is at the top with 18 million downloads. It is followed by Dream11 with 16 million and Roblox with 14 million.
However, estimates show that these ten games reached 124 million phones last month. This reveals that it is a similar month to March, with 125 million downloads.
