Turkcell’s digital publishing platform, Dergilik, continued to be constantly updated in 2021 and to create a pleasant world for its readers with brand new content. Daily newspapers for readers who want to be aware of the agenda, interesting articles for those who are curious about what is in the contents of the magazine, podcasts and entertaining quizzes met the readers in the application.
During 2021, carefully selected articles from magazines and newspapers, along with all publications, were read more than 68 million times. The most read magazine categories were life, sports, humor and business. Readers also took the pulse of the agenda with daily newspapers.
Magazine users listened to 30 million articles
A total of 30 million articles were listened to in Dergilik throughout the year. At the beginning of the articles listened to with interest, ‘What Is Your Star Saying Today?’ themed content. ‘Common Privacy Mistakes on Social Media!’ Readers who wondered about their position in the digital world with ‘Top 10 Fat Burning Foods’ also searched for ways to stay fit.
Podcasts that Dergilik brought to its users in 2021 were also highly appreciated. Thanks to the podcast section added to the application, the content offered to users has become even richer. While many publications on topics such as psychology, health, technology, decoration, finance, life and entertainment were listened to more than 23 million times in total, psychology content in particular attracted great attention. ‘Why Can’t Gifted People Be Happy?’ and ’14 Ways to Stand Strong Against Pain by the Philosopher Epictetus’ were featured as the most listened podcasts in Dergilik.
