For those who missed it, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will feature significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 series. In the images leaked today, we see the Galaxy S24 and S24+ models live for the first time.
Galaxy S24 and S24+ expected features
According to current reports, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will feature 6.2 and 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays on the front, respectively. It is also stated that this panel will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and a screen brightness reaching 3,000 nits. In the camera department, both models will be accompanied by 50 MP + 10 MP + 12 MP sensors.
According to the statement made by Qualcomm, Galaxy S24 series phones will be divided into Qualcomm and Exynos processors depending on the market. So, we will encounter Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets in the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to be offered to users only with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Both phones, which will be released with Android 14-based One UI 6.0 out of the box, will be supported by 25W 4,000mAh and 45W 4,900mAh battery packs, respectively. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to be introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 17. In this context, we think that as the launch date approaches, more rumors and leaks will emerge.
