Xiaomi introduced the long-awaited MIUI 13 user interface today. However, it also launched the first flagship ‘Xiaomi 12’ series out of the box with the new interface. The Chinese technology giant, which made serious innovations in terms of design in MIUI 13, also promises users 52% more performance.
The interface, which is expected to be based on both Android 11 and Android 12, will come to Xiaomi phones that support it from January 2022. It will also bring features that increase the daily usage experience such as better energy saving mode, smart tools, virtual RAM extension. Whichever MIUI 13 wallpapers you like, you can open it in full screen by clicking on it once. Then you need to hold down the photo and press the “Download file” or “Save as” button. The most important innovation that came with MIUI 13 was the changed design. Using a brand new font called Mi Sans in the interface, the Chinese technology company made the font more symmetrical in terms of spacing and the appearance of the characters. In addition, the Material You theme, which personalizes the phone according to the colors of the Android 12 wallpaper, is among the features of the new interface.
Xiaomi did not only innovate in design in MIUI 13. The company, which also attaches importance to user security, introduced its new system called “electronic fraud protection”. This system, which consists of three steps, records the user’s face as well as other physical features such as the upper part of the body. Thus, even people with similar faces cannot open your phone.
