For the second part of Mission Impossible 7, starring Tom Cruise, some shootings would be done in the Grand Bazaar. Last Sunday, the Grand Bazaar was reviewed by director Christopher McQuarrie.
Our mission is now canceled (I think)
The Grand Bazaar, which is normally closed on Sundays, was evacuated for the inspections of Our Mission: Impossible shots and was inspected by the designated people. After the investigations, the director McQuarrie, who decided to shoot certain parts for the continuation of the series, allegedly gave up on this decision only two days later.
According to the news of Habertürk writer Mehmet Çalışkan; The reason for this decision is interestingly thought-provoking.
It was learned that a confidentiality agreement was made during the investigations of the Grand Bazaar. While examining the bazaar, which was closed on Sunday, a few people accompanied the team. However, a shopkeeper in the Grand Bazaar leaked an image from security cameras to social media on Monday.
After this development, according to the allegations; Christopher McQuarrie gave up filming part of the second part of Mission Impossible: The Deadly Showdown in Istanbul.
Mission Impossible: The Deadly Reckoning Part Two, the last film in the series, will be released on 28 June 2024.
