Galaxy Investment CEO Mike Novogratz claimed that the Russia-Ukraine war will increase crypto adoption and lead to marginalization of the dollar.
The famous banker made it clear that he was on the side of Ukraine and shared a photo of himself with Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Novogratz believes that war could push “more organized people” towards crypto.
Novogratz noted the spike in Bitcoin-ruble and Bitcoin-hryvnia trading volumes as an example of “how a decentralized currency can offer a refuge when access to traditional banking is disrupted.”
“This is a message. I want to have money that lives outside of traditional power. That’s why Bitcoin was created because people don’t trust governments”
Bitcoin is trading at $44,049 at the time of writing.
