The new player in the smartphone market that has attracted attention in recent years has been foldable models. In this direction, many companies from Samsung to Huawei introduce new models every year. Microsoft is also in the market with its folding models called Surface Duo. Today, it turned out that an unreleased prototype was displayed on eBay.
Microsoft Surface Duo has landed on eBay!
Thanks to an archived eBay listing, we saw a Surface Duo version developed by Microsoft but never released because it was later cancelled. The device, which is thought to be designed to replace the 2nd model of the series, seems to be in full working order.
As you can see from the image above, there is a Microsoft logo on the front of the device. On the back, there is only the camera island and flash. Apart from that, it is noteworthy that it has a thinner structure than the one on the market. The case material used looks like hard plastic.
Since the device is fully operational as we mentioned, it is also possible to use it and detect its features. Although it was listed for a short time, we see that these details are included on eBay and directly appeal to the upper segment.
Inside the prototype is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor. While not the best chip on the market, we know it offers flagship performance. On the screen side, there are 2 AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, which are the same in size. But there is no information about RAM.
