After Microsoft announced that it would buy Activision Blizzard for approximately 70 billion dollars in January 2022, the statements continue to come one after another. Activision Blizzard, the creator of legendary games such as Call of Duty and Diablo, has been on the agenda for a while due to sexual harassment and poor working conditions, and it was also wondered what Microsoft would do about these issues after the purchase. The expected statement came directly from Microsoft.

Microsoft indicated in an interview with CNBC that they are well aware of these issues. Microsoft President and Vice President Brad Smith said that after the acquisition, Activision Blizzard’s leading team will change and they will continue with a new team. Smith, who says that there will be significant changes after taking over Activision Blizzard, promises that they will establish a new team and change the internal culture of the company, while expressing in the interview that they will make sure that the right people are in the right positions.

Activision Blizzard acquisitions are expected in late 2022 or early 2023.
