In the Edge Canary version, only a limited number of users can access the feature under Settings > Privacy options at the moment. It is stated that the built-in VPN service masks the user’s IP address, encrypts the traffic and ensures security. However, it is not yet possible to select a specific country and the amount of traffic is limited to 1 GB per month.

Traffic over 1GB will be charged

Microsoft Edge Secure is enabled by default. However, it is used depending on the settings and conditions. It can be used for all browser connections when operating over an open Wi-Fi network or accessing an unsecured network.

The available options will be “All Sites” and “Selected Sites”, from which, as the name suggests, you can import data from all or just some of the sites without exception. It is not yet clear when the new feature will be available and how much traffic over 1GB per month will cost.
