Call of Duty will remain on Playstation
As it is known, Microsoft said that Call of Duty will be supported on the Playstation platform for the next three years. However, the offer was described by PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan as “inadequate on many levels”. Answering Sony’s concerns today, Xbox CEO Phil Spencer said, “We are not buying Call Of Duty from PlayStation. “Our intention is to keep Call of Duty on Sony platforms as long as there is a PlayStation in the market.”
Although the Activision Blizzard agreement creates a big monopoly concern in the game market, we can say that Microsoft has removed the question marks about the Playstation presence of Call of Duty. Phill Spencer said he is confident that the deal, which is currently being reviewed by many regulators, will be approved by the end of fiscal year 2023.
