As you know, Microsoft has been releasing two major updates every year since Windows 10. With the release of Windows 11, the software giant changed its strategy to include only “one major” feature update. However, minor updates called Moment will continue to be available throughout the year that will further enhance the operating system experience.

The big update that Microsoft will release in 2023 will be 23H2. The first reference to Windows 11 version 23H2 was spotted by Twitter user XenoPanther. The company seems to have started work on this version. It won’t be a surprise to see some improvements to this version in Windows Insider builds soon.

When will Windows 11 23H2 be released?

As Microsoft itself points out, major Windows 11 updates are usually released in the second half of the year. Therefore, we can expect the 23H2 version to be available in September or October. We’ll have the chance to learn more details about the new feature update as the release date approaches.
