After a large and long-term investment in OpenAI behind ChatGPT, Microsoft began integrating the company’s artificial intelligence technologies into its services. While the biggest integration was on Bing, Microsoft is now bringing the technology behind ChatGPT to Power Platform, which allows users to develop applications with little or no coding.

Big tech companies, from Alphabet to Baidu, are trying to incorporate generative artificial intelligence technology into their products, which has gained popularity for its ability to generate human-like text responses to queries. Google has already started testing its own model in-house with Bard, but Microsoft has been partially openly testing the new Bing for a while.

On the other hand, Microsoft announced that it has updated a number of services and application development tools within the Power Platform, including the Power Virtual Agent and AI Builder, with new capabilities. Power Virtual Agent, a tool for businesses to create chatbots, can now connect to internal resources to generate weekly reports and summaries of customer inquiries.

Microsoft has also added productive AI capabilities to AI Builder, which enables businesses to automate workflows, and Dynamics 365, a business management platform. For now, these features will only be available in the USA, but these features will be brought to other countries in the future. Of course, Microsoft will not only strengthen its Power Platform with artificial intelligence. Extensive Office 365 updates are also planned on the horizon. Therefore, in the near future, we will create query-based articles in Word and tables in Excel.
