Windows 10 operating system support will end on October 14, 2025. Microsoft strongly recommends users to upgrade to Windows 11, but users who do not want to abandon the old operating system just yet will be able to purchase an annual subscription for the Extended Security Update (ESU).

Corporate customers will pay more

Enrollment in the ESU program will be possible in the fall of next year, and users will be able to continue to receive important security updates for Windows 10 for another year by paying $ 30. However, new features, bug fixes, and Microsoft technical support will no longer be available.

Enterprise customers will also be able to extend Windows 10 support, but the duration and amounts are completely different. The first year of the ESU will cost companies $61, the second year $122, and the third year $244.
