Software giant Microsoft continues to include the intelligent chat robot Bing Chat in its products. This time, technology based on artificial intelligence has been integrated into the Skype chat experience.
The Tone Rewrites feature, included in the Skype Insider 8.104 preview build, helps rewrite the text of a message in different styles. There are currently some options available such as Professional, Casual, and Sarcastic.
How is it working?
After entering the message text, the user selects the desired tone from the menu above the text field. Bing Chat will then rewrite the message in the specified style. At the last stage, all that remains for the user is to confirm the text or return to the original text.
It is also possible to change the style again to compare the results and choose the most suitable one. Bing Tone Rewrites is gradually rolling out the feature to Skype users. Therefore, if you cannot see it immediately, you may need to check again after a while.
