Microsoft has released new update packages for its operating systems as part of the monthly Tuesday patches. The updates available for Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 fix some bugs and bring security improvements.

The first cumulative update for Windows 11 2022, which was recently released and also known as version 22H2, contains many fixes for the problems found in this version. The Tuesday patch was presented under the number KB5018427.

Legacy operating systems are also patched

In addition to all this, last year’s Windows 11 21H2 version also received an update numbered KB5018418. The security-focused KB5018410 update is available for the latest versions of Windows 10, 21H1 and 21H2.

Updates KB5018454 and KB5018474 are available for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. While these patches fix issues with Linux virtual machines, they also fix the date of daylight saving time in Chile.
