According to statistics published by StatCounter for March, Google Chrome continues to lead the desktop segment with a 67.29% market share. Moreover, the share of internet browser increased by 2.4%. However, there is a more remarkable detail in the report.
E3 2022 completely canceled
Chrome’s leadership is not surprising, of course. However, in the fight for second place, Microsoft Edge managed to outperform its competitors for the first time. The browser, which increased its usage rate, narrowly surpassed Apple’s Safari browser with a 9.65% market share.

- Google Chrome: 67.29%
- Microsoft Edge: 9.65% (980710)
- Apple Safari: 9.56%
- Mozilla Firefox: 7.57%
- Opera: 2.81%
The situation is different in statistics covering both mobile devices. Edge is in third place and far behind Safari. Google Chrome is again at the top of the ranking with an overwhelming advantage.
