Software giant Microsoft has updated its Edge browser to version 109. The update, which is currently available for download by all users, brings with it new features, bug fixes and security patches.

You don’t need to do anything extra as the new version is downloaded and installed by the browser itself. You just need to reboot. The update includes security patches CVE-2023-21775 and CVE-2023-21796 that make the browser vulnerable to hacking.

Can predict word and sentence

The stable version of Microsoft Edge 109 has got a useful feature to help users type faster and with less errors. The browser can now offer word and phrase suggestions for text fields on web pages.

Note that the predictive text feature is currently only available in English in the US, India and Australia. Language support will be further expanded with future releases. Edge 109 also includes some changes regarding TLS server certificate validation.
