Microsoft’s hopeful work on Windows 11 continues. Microsoft released a new preview version for developers and beta users a while ago. While Microsoft has brought some innovations in the Windows 11 Build 25281 version it has released, it has removed the Search bar feature, which has been around for a while.

Search bar was canceled before it came to Windows 11

The features that go back to the features that come with Windows 11 Build 25281 are also remarkable. Prominent among these was the desktop search bar that came with Build 25120 in May last year. This feature served the same function as the Search widget we saw on Android. The user could perform searches via Bing with the search bar on the desktop. However, this feature was not offered to the end user and remained in beta versions for a long time.

This feature does not actually offer a much more practical use. Because with Build 25158, the company added new styles to the Search tab in the Taskbar and provided Bing integration. Therefore, an extra widget feature that would take up space on the desktop was unnecessary and cancelled. Meanwhile, Microsoft brought a ton of bug fixes along with some new features for tabbed Notepad and Settings with the latest version update.
