Microsoft recently released an update for the Xbox PC app with version number 2211.1000. The new firmware has noticeably improved the performance of the application. So much so that the head of Xbox felt the need to congratulate the software team.

The developers have significantly increased the speed of opening sections and navigating to game pages. In addition, the animations have been optimized, which has a positive effect on speed. The company has also eliminated embedded data from the game card.

Xbox President Phil Spencer praised the developers, saying, “The Xbox PC app runs faster and feels more fluid after this week’s update. I’m proud of the team for listening to player feedback and delivering a huge performance improvement.”

There are other improvements in the 2211.1000 update released for the Xbox PC application. The application now remembers the window size and supports the mouse back button. Additionally, the developers have eliminated a number of accessibility issues.
