The renewed Microsoft application store was first opened to Canary and Dev Channel Insider users. The store’s official desktop site has a new design that is very similar to the Windows 11 application.The new Microsoft Store uses a design consisting of cards where you can see new applications, categories, special offers and more. Games and apps have their own cards, but the appearance of newly added and highlighted movies remains unchanged. According to the post by Judah Gabriel, an engineer at Microsoft, the new Microsoft Store site is built with a number of different web components tools, including Lit, Shoelace, Vite and PWABuilders templates.
Gabriel said that the old version of the Microsoft Store site used the React code base built on an outdated user interface. The new site has a finely designed interface with modern web technologies that makes it easy to discover new applications.
