After Bing and Microsoft Edge rose rapidly on the App Store and Play Store lists, another piece of news came from the waiting list for Bing.
Microsoft on Tuesday launched the new version of the Bing search engine, along with the new chatbot artificial intelligence feature. While the full version of the new Bing is currently only available to a relatively small number of users, there seems to be a lot of interested people willing to dive into it and check it out.
Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President and Chief Consumer Marketing Officer, said in a statement that more than a million people signed up for the waiting list to access the new chatbot-enabled Bing within 48 hours.
Microsoft says it plans to roll out the new and complete Bing experience to millions of users in the coming weeks. Its rival, Google, also plans to make its own chatbot AI, Bard, public in the near future, and all company employees are asked to test it beforehand.
