READING NOW Microsoft 365 Copilot release date announced: Revolution in Office applications
The software giant dropped the name Microsoft Office last year and rebranded it as Microsoft 365, and earlier this year it announced the artificial intelligence Microsoft 365 Copilot. Now, within the scope of the event organized by Microsoft, the release date of Microsoft 365 Copilot artificial intelligence assistant has been announced.

A date has been given for Microsoft 365 Copilot

Microsoft’s 365 Copilot AI assistant will be available for Microsoft 365 customers with select business and enterprise plans starting November 1. But this add-on isn’t free: The company announced in July that it would charge $30 per user per month to access this feature. While this is not a high price for large businesses, it means that the subscription price will almost double for startups and small businesses.

In its simplest form, Copilot can be thought of as the modern version of Clippy, which we saw many years ago. Thanks to this feature, users can summarize documents or delegate e-mail creation to artificial intelligence. It can also create entirely new Word projects using information from other files or collect real-time highlights from Teams meetings. It can even visualize data and prepare presentations. And yes, he is an expert in Excel too.

Copilot’s launch comes shortly after Google launched its own AI tools called Duet AI in Google Workspace, a 365 counterpart. Google charges the same fee for access ($30 per person per month), and the feature offers many of the same benefits as Microsoft.
