MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor said it’s an ideal time to invest in Bitcoin.
Speaking to CNBC, Saylor made important statements about MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin policy.
Saylor emphasized that since the day they invested in Bitcoin in August 2020, Bitcoin has performed 10 times better than all other assets, mentioning the S&P 500, Gold and Nasdaq 100 index.
Saylor pointed out that since August 2020, gold has lost 10% of its value, noting that Bitcoin has increased by 86%.
Saylor stated that his company could not find a better idea for investment than Bitcoin.
Refraining from giving a clear answer on whether MicroStrategy will buy Bitcoin again, Saylor argued that Bitcoin may seem risky as a monthly investment, but it is an ideal store of value for the long-term:
“No one lost money investing in Bitcoin for four years”
Saylor cited Bitcoin’s decline as an opportunity, saying it was an “ideal entry point”
