HTC, which has not released competitive flagship phones for years, has broken its silence. Today, we can say that HTC Desire 22 Pro, which is the successor of Desire 21 Pro introduced last year, is a big step taken by the company to the metaverse.
Phone powered by Metaverse
It is stated that the new HTC phone is designed to work in perfect harmony with the recently announced virtual reality glasses Vive Flow VR. The headset can work with any Android phone; therefore, it is a matter of curiosity what kind of experience the Desire 22 Pro will offer. It is stated that the phone includes a digital wallet for managing crypto assets and comes with a free NFT, but this may vary by market.
Looking at the features of the Desire 22 Pro, it would not be wrong to say that it is a mid-range smartphone. The 6.6-inch 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate includes a punch-hole notch in the upper left that houses the 32-megapixel selfie camera. When we turn the back of the device, we see a triple camera setup. A 64-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor make up the camera system of the HTC Desire 22 Pro.
The phone, which comes with 8GB RAM 128GB storage space, is powered by a 4520mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. Wireless and reverse wireless charging support is available. It comes with Android version 12 and is IP67 certified for dust and water resistance.
The phone, which has black and gold color options, is very reminiscent of the company’s old blockchain-supported smartphone, Exodus 1, as you will notice. The price of the phone is 399 pounds, and the release date has been announced as August 1.
