Announcing Metaverse in October last year and announcing that it will soon introduce new equipment to enter this virtual world, the event to be held next month was expected with great curiosity and excitement. Many sources in the industry claimed that Meta will introduce the new VR headset Quest Pro at this event.
A bomb-like claim that emerged today blew the minds of VR lovers. Allegedly, a person named Ramiro Cardena in a VR group on Facebook shared the video of the new Quest Pro.
Here is the video that was shared
In the video we can see Cardena showing off his virtual reality glasses, controllers and box. Although the controls are very reminiscent of the ones in the Oculus Quest series, the 3 cameras on the front of the glasses immediately attract attention. In previous claims, it was claimed that Quest Pro would support both virtual reality and augmented reality applications.
Of course, the phrase “Not for sale – Engineering Example” on the box of the VR glasses immediately attracts attention. It is unknown how Cardena reached this early access example. Neither Cardena nor Meta officials have yet made a statement on the subject. It was known that Meta, who could not keep their new projects secret most of the time, made an effort not to leak Quest Pro, but it seems that all this effort was in vain.
No leaks or explanations have been made about the features of Quest Pro, which is claimed to have a high-resolution screen, hand and motion tracking system, and many more. It is currently unclear whether Meta will make a statement until the event on November 11.
