An Ethereum developer started programming the memecoin AstroPepeX using ChatGPT.
An Ethereum developer has managed to get ChatGPT to launch its own ERC-20 token, AstroPepeX, based on data from the most traded tokens on Uniswap. X user CroissantETH detailed how they integrated ChatGPT into a custom application using OpenAI’s API. They told him to design and issue his own ERC-20 token with an estimated market cap of $3.5 million.
This move of the developer attracted great attention
In light of data obtained from Etherscan, it was stated that there are more than 2,300 APX holders who have made more than 17,700 transactions since the token was launched on September 20. The developer was able to enable ChatGPT to deploy smart contracts on the Ethereum network after feeding it data on the first 10,000 tokens traded on Uniswap. Commenting on the subject, the Ethereum developer said:
“It actually asks ChatGPT to create an ERC-20 token using Open Zeppelin standards. The token name and other parameters are designed to be conveyed by the values given by GPT in the structure of the code.”
CroissantETH also explained that its initial attempts at potential names for ChatGPT’s ERC-20 token were not ideal. The developer’s solution was to integrate data from the most traded Uniswap tokens to provide LLM with a more natural output.
