Meet the faster car gang that created a cycle scandal with its different policies and tragic endings: Mid Night Club

Mid Night Club was a Japanese street racing gang founded in 1985 at the Bayshore Route of the Shuto Expressway in the middle of Tokyo and Yokohama.

The gang has become one of the most awful and most respectful clubs of its genus. He gained a worldwide reputation because of his dangerous high racing faces and was considered one of the longest street racing gangs. Their identity was never announced.

There were rules to join the club.

To join the racing gang, your car had to be able to rise at least 250 km/h on the face. They were often racing with faces over 300 km/h.

The new members were considered apprentices for a year and had to attend all meetings. Only 10 %of the drivers were entitled to full membership. A random person who was a danger to other drivers or members had to leave the club.

The members carried a small rectangular mid Night extraction in their bumpers, a larger sticker in the sunshine area, and sometimes the “mid Night Racing Team” on the sides.

The high standards of gang members made it difficult for the police to catch them. Many people were wearing Mid Night stickers, but the real members called those who did it as dishonest.

If we talk about cars:

  • Porsche 930 Turbo: It was the choice of the group’s leader and had 600 horsepower.
  • Nissan Fairlady Z (S30): This vehicle, known as “Devil Z”, had 600 horsepower and could reach 300 km/h speed.
  • Nissan Skyline GT-R: This model, also preferred by other members of the group, was known for its high performance.
  • Mazda RX-7: Both FC and FD crates were in the middle of the cluster.
  • Toyota Supra: A70 and A80 models were among other vehicles used by the cluster.
  • Porsche 964: This vehicle, which is used by Sato, was recorded in 1997 as the fastest Porsche in Japan.
  • Porsche 930: This pink vehicle owned by Uwabo was able to produce power in the middle of 680 and 800 horsepower.

Let’s explain exactly how the races take place.

The club, which consists of an average of 30 members, met at a fuel station in Yokohama at midnight, as the name suggests, the races took place on the Bayshore route and the other fuel station in Tokyo was finished.

Cars were able to reach 400-600 horsepower, and one of the members was said to have spent more than $ 2 million to modify the Porsche 911 nicknamed Blackbird.

The identities of the drivers have never been announced.

Due to the open policy of the club, the members could not know about other members and did not know how they found the money for modifications. Only in 1995, the profession of two drivers was announced. One of the real estate agents, the obstruction of the family profession was selling automobiles.

The deadly accident in 1999 caused them to disintegrate.

Mid Night Club, Local Bōsōzoku gang (a motorcycle gang subculture in Japan) competed in Wangan, and when he decided to play with some Mid Night members, he encountered a premature ending.

The race was rapidly out of the audit and 2 members of the Bōsōzoku club were killed and 8 drivers were taken to hospital. Some sources stated that the gang is quickly dispersed because of the policy of the clubs not endangering the drivers; He says the cars are hiding and that the members are still in the seclusion today.

Some claim that the club still exists.
