Both Qualcomm and MediaTek are working on new sub -flagship processors and apparently both companies go to name change in processors.A leak that emerged a few days ago revealed that Qualcomm’s upcoming chipset will be called Snapdragon 8s Elite instead of Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Now, it was claimed that MediaTek will be released under the name Dimensity 9400E.
MediaTek aims to make the processor compatible with the current flagship with this name change. However, under the hood, there are still traces of the Dimensity 9300 series.
Dimensity 9400e expected features
According to the Digital Chat Station, the Dimensity 9400E is based on Dimensity 9300, but it contains some improvements. Therefore, it is expected to have the same core sequence: a Cortex-X4 seed with a high-clock speed, three Cortex-X4 seeds and four Cortex-A720 seeds. The performance difference is likely to be obtained by increasing the clock speed.
With Dimensity 9400E, the first phone is expected to be OnePlus ACE 5V. The launch date of the processor is not yet clear.
