When we look at the income distribution we see a $30.8 billion pie across the market. 37.7 percent of this belongs to Qualcomm. MediaTek and Apple each hold 26 percent market share. Samsung, on the other hand, is at the level of 6.6 percent.

It is stated that MediaTek generates less revenue due to its processors that cost more. Qualcomm, on the other hand, earns from the premium class. The best-selling Android processors of 2021 were Snapdragon 888/888+, 765/G, 750G, 662 and Dimensity 700.

Last year, on-device artificial intelligence engines exceeded 900 million. While sales of 5G integrated processors grew by 84 percent, TSMC produced three out of every four processors. The rate of chips produced in 7nm and higher processes reached 43 percent.
