Taiwan-based semiconductor giant MediaTek announced three new mobile processors at an event it organized. These processors, named “Dimensity 1050 5G”, “Dimensity 930 5G” and “Helio G99”, seem to open a new page in the smartphone world. Because all three models have features that will bring middle segment phones closer to the upper segment.
All three of MediaTek’s new processors have TSMC’s 6 nm manufacturing process. In addition, new generation storage and RAM technologies are supported in all three models. Introducing MediaTek Dimensity 1050 5G
MediaTek Dimensity 1050 5G, running at 2.5 GHz with 4 ARM Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.0 GHz It comes with ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores. This processor also brings the ARM Mali-G610 MC3 GPU. Offering a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz in FHD+ resolution, the processor supports LPDDR4 and LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 2.1 and UFS 3.1 storage technologies. It should also be noted that the processor has dual-frequency GPS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C support.

MediaTek Dimensity 930 5G also offers camera sensor support up to 108 MP like 150 5G. In addition, this processor can shoot 4K video at 30 fps.
Processor that will bring entry-level 4G phones to the middle segment: MediaTek Helio G99
MediaTek Helio G99 is a processor developed for phones with 4G support. The processor, which has 2 ARM Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.2 GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0 GHz, comes with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Supporting LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.2 storage technology, the processor offers a 120 Hz screen refresh rate at FHD + resolution. Features such as dual-frequency GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C also appeared in MediaTek Helio G99.
Smartphone companies will be able to use 108 MP cameras using these processors. In addition, 32 MP camera sensors with zero latency or 16 MP + 16 MP camera setups will also support simultaneous image processing. Users will be able to shoot FHD up to 120fps, 4K video up to 30fps.
