Reportedly, Dimensity Auto is broken down into several main components, namely Dimensity Auto Cockpit, Dimensity Auto Connect, Dimensity Auto Drive and Dimensity Auto Components. Among these solutions, Dimensity Auto Cockpit, based on artificial intelligence and 3nm manufacturing process, will offer a complete streaming and decoding package as well as supporting multiple HDR 8k displays with 120 Hz refresh rate. In this context, MediaTek launches the new solution as “the world’s fastest smart cockpit”.
Increasing competition in the market
Another component, Dimensity Auto Connect, will be responsible for in-vehicle connections. Coming with 5G NTN technology and 5G RedCap for enhanced performance, this solution will be powered by Wi-Fi 7, support for multiple Bluetooth connections and of course GNSS support for geolocation.
Other components, Dimensity Auto Drive and Dimensity Auto Components, will provide the opportunity for developments for autonomous driving and the supply of state-of-the-art components at competitive prices. We can say that MediaTek has been involved in the competition in the automotive market with the Dimensity Auto platform.
