The popular messaging application WhatsApp, owned by Meta, continues to gain new features that will increase the user experience. Now a long-awaited feature has been discovered in the last beta version of the app. Users will now be able to sort across multiple media submissions. Here are the details.

A new sorting option is coming to WhatsApp

As you know, when you want to send more than one photo or video from WhatsApp, we see that these files are marked with a small tick without any order. Although this feature is functional, users need to keep the sorting in mind and return and select again when the file limit is exceeded. So much so that we even see that the selected files are sent in a much different order.

However, with the latest update, WhatsApp plans to solve this problem with a numbering system that will be added to the selection section. According to the shared images, this feature will give users more control over the transfer order by assigning each selected item a number displayed in the thumbnail. Therefore, you will be able to send the photos you choose in the order you want.

As of now, the new feature is available for WhatsApp beta users. However, WhatsApp plans to roll it out to a wider user base and gradually expand its availability in the coming days. It should also be noted that this is not the only feature that will come to WhatsApp. Among the features to be added to the application are many innovations, including screen sharing for Windows calls, high-quality photos and new interface improvements.
